The Domaine du Hameau Baylesse invites you on the foothills of Cathares Pyrenees’ mountain, in the natural and preserved southern french region of Ariège.

Description of the property
The house is an old hamlet exposed directly on the south and facing the mountains, surrounded by all natural greenery and gardens; located on the hillside, and which was refurbished in the 70s to form the current mansion.
The guest house is composed by a large mansion of 350 m², based on old half-timbered buildings as the main living area and an accommodation of 4 guest rooms with each one an independent bathrooms:

On the ground floor, there is an access for the entrance hall, sided by a large dining room with a fireplace, a library lounge also gifted with a fireplace, the first guest room full equipped with bathroom and toilet. In the second part of the mansion is located for private accommodation including a large, well equipped kitchen sided with another living room with fireplace, the laundry room and the access to the cellars. On the first floor, for a private use there are two bedrooms, a bathroom, and an office. The old hamlet part contains also the garage with an ancient attic space and a workshop, sided with a game room for children and a barn.
For the guest house, on the first floor there is one guest room with bathroom and toilet near the office, and a very large suite for two people, full equipped with bathroom deserved with bathtub and shower and separated toilet, and a dressing. Ideal for the couples.
In the old timbered building there is a family suite consisting of two guest rooms with the capacity of hosting 4 peoples, a common bathroom with toilets and a direct access to the parking lot. Ideal for the family who desire some privacy.
The property also has two adjoining buildings sided with the old hamlet part, which understand a big cottage of 80 m² constituted on the ground floor of a living room and a kitchen; with on the first floor, three bedrooms and a bathroom. The kitchen gives directly on a courtyard overlooking the meadow, and a large summer covered terrace which is sided by another small dependency, which can be planned to be another room or developing the actual guest house.
In front of this first cottage, there is another smaller cottage of 65 m2, facing directly a private garden, including also a full equipped kitchen and a living room. Upstairs, there are a parental bedroom and a second for children, sharing a common bathroom.
The estate also have a private outdoor pool area with a Jacuzzi and all their equipment, larges terraces in front of the houses with climbing ivy, orchards (apple trees, cherry trees ...), a park with many and diverse trees, and a meadow of 2 hectares on the back of buildings which can be accommodates for animals (horses, ponies, sheep ...).
The estate is well located in the small village of St Jean d'Aigues Vives, from 2 km of the town of Lavelanet deserved by many local shops and several services.
The property benefits from a very central position, with an easy access from the major frenchroads, as the departmental D117 (cathar castles road), connecting Foix to Perpignan,the national road N20 from 30 minutes, giving access to principality of Andorra and the gate of Spain; and the freeway at 40 minutes from the house with a direct access of all the French networks.
